I rarely if ever wax personal on this blog, but I would like to share news about an upcoming local festival here in Upstate New York called the Saratoga Native American Festival. It has nothing to do with usual Ethnos Project fare like technology and culture or ICT4D – I include it here because I had the opportunity to serve as the Festival’s organizer for its first two years in operation (2006 and 2007) while working as the Education Director for the Ndakinna Education Center and I suffer from a sort of parental pride.
The 2011 Saratoga Native American Festival is this weekend, October 1-2 at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center in Saratoga Springs, New York. Locate it on the map here.
