UWinnipeg offers you a unique Master’s in Development Practice (MDP) in Indigenous Development thanks to a prestigious MacArthur Foundation grant. This two-year program of study consists of course work, applied research and field placements. The program transcends borders by offering online “global classrooms” that will connect students to an international network of 22 other universities as well as with local, rural, and remote communities around the world.
This graduate level program is intended to train you – aspiring development practitioners – to understand and manage global sustainable development challenges across health sciences, natural sciences, social sciences and management disciplines. As a graduate of the MDP Program, you will be a new class of development practitioners versed in the holistic process with the skills to work with anyone – anywhere in the world.
