We believe that community education and participation is the key to sustainable development. We have innovated unique theatre based models for empowering marginal sections of people with knowledge, skills and resources to lead their own development and reduce their vulnerabilities to diseases, impact of disasters and crimes like trafficking.

We have worked with diverse linguistic, cultural, religious and demographic groups across 21 states of India. Our strategy is to physically reach out to the people in rural areas and urban slums where conventional approaches have limited impact owing to factors like illiteracy, poverty, absence of electricity and lack of reach. We use Theatre in Development (TiD) methodologies like Interactive Theatre/ Forum Theatre/ Invisible Theatre to promote community participation and involvement. We train grass root level service providers and community based resource groups in uniquely designed workshops based on TiD methodologies.
