AI-D is a non-profit organization established to support research on AI for Development (AI-D). A focal point of current AI-D efforts is the coalescence and distribution of data sets in support of research. Data promises to play a critical role in AI-D projects. AI-D is working with potential sources of data (such as telephone operators in different regions of the world) to devise strategies for sharing the data for research purposes.
